Yoskay Yamamoto is a japanese artists who moved to the united states at age 15, he taught himself how to draw and paint and his muse is the urban culture of the West Coast.  Yamamto blends two different cultural backgrounds together, with traditional Japanese painting styles and pop icon characters. I like Yamamoto's work because of the soft mixture of blue hues and red, his pieces are very calming to look at yet very colorful and vibrant. His paintings are very child-like and whimsical which i really enjoy:)
